OUTREACH Prayer Update
November 2015
-
-
Our church planters depend on the prayers and encouragement of God's people. OUTREACH NORTH AMERICA provides this monthly prayer letter to inform you of some of their specific needs and praises so you will know better how to pray for them. Thank you for your prayers and the interest you show by your phone and e-mail responses. Your prayers truly encourage your church planters. (See the bottom of this e-mail for a summary of all the mission churches included in this update.)

-
In general
- The ONA Board meeting is November 17-18. Please pray for safety for all of the members traveling and for a fruitful meeting.

Pray
- Pray for our search for a more permanent location. We are looking at a storefront property in the area of where we'd like to conduct ministry and grow.
- Pray for our meet and greet in a couple neighborhoods around the area where we meet. We are taking a couple Saturdays in October and November to go door to door handing out brochures and tracts and to meet and encourage people to consider who God is.
- Pray for a bible study group with a few young military people, and another bible study that we are hoping to begin at a senior's complex.
-
Give thanks
- For our four core households.
- That we have had an encouraging start to our worship services.

-
Petition
- That God would bless our fundraising campaign "100 People, 100 Dollars, 100 Days."
- That upcoming art events would be a good means of outreach.
- That our Elder Candidates continue to be equipped as we aim for organization in spring 2016. (Hooray!)

Pray
- As we continue to look for a new place to meet in Rock Hill. I met with a realtor yesterday about a potential place.
- Pray for the guests that we've had the past 3 Sundays. New people! Pray that they stick with us.
- Pray for a couple I had lunch with last week. She grew up in a fundamental Baptist Church and he grew up in the Catholic Church. Both are looking into Buddhism.
- Pray as we seek financial resources for 2016.

- Pray that we would continue to have an outward focus and that we would invite unbelievers to church to hear the gospel.
- Pray that we would also tell other mission minded Christians about Holy Trinity and that the Lord would provide some more mature Christian individuals and/or families to stabilize the core group.

Praise
- For God’s sovereignty in two families interested in membership and one single women going through our membership process now.
- For God providing an opportunity to lead a short devotion every Friday mornings for two local artists, one local business owner, and the director of the Travelers Rest Farmer’s market.

Pray
- Pray that good conversations would continue with the Friday morning devotions and that God would work in their hearts to see that their works of going to church and being nice won’t save them but that they need a savior in Jesus Christ.
- Pray for the preaching of God’s Word every week and that God’s people would be encouraged and edified to live out their faith throughout the week.
- Pray for the two families considering membership.
- Pray for members and new members to rise up who can help share some of the teaching load of Sunday School and Sunday Night Bible Study so that Walker can spend more time on evangelism.
- Pray that we would meet our goal of raising $2,500 for a digital piano that is more portable at the YMCA.
