OUTREACH Prayer Update
MARCH 2015
Our church planters depend on the prayers and encouragement of God's people. OUTREACH NORTH AMERICA provides this monthly prayer letter to inform you of some of their specific needs and praises so you will know better how to pray for them. Thank you for your prayers and the interest you show by your phone and e-mail responses. Your prayers truly encourage your church planters. (See the bottom of this e-mail for a summary of all the mission churches included in this update.)
In general
Pray for the Church Planter Assessment Center March 11-14.
Praise that Mike Jones and his family made it through their first ice and snow storms in Greenville as former Floridians.
If you would like to support individual missions, you can donate to them on the ONA website http://www.outreachnorthamerica.org/donate-individual-missions/.

Daniel and Ashlee Wells (intern)Praise
For recent returning visitors.
For our developing Sunday evening children's ministry and its initial success and momentum.
For fruit from Daniel's growing counseling ministry, especially in the restored and thriving marriage of a couple who has also now united their family with our church.
Pray
For members with economic and vocational hardships, marriage struggles, and health concerns.
For God to grant us 10 new individuals/families in the first quarter of 2015- we are getting close!
For non-Christians in our midst who are exploring faith in Christ.
Kings Parish, Dallas, Texas
Rev. David and Margaret Winburne david@kingsparish.com
We praise the Lord for a larger group of attenders coming to our worship service and gathering events.
Please pray that these new attenders would keep coming and be embraced by our existing community.
River Crossing ARP, York County, SC
Rev. David and Emily Stover Stoverdavid@hotmail.com
Zach Simmons (intern)
Praise
We have had guests the past 3 Sundays.
The Stover's have a new renter for their house in Delaware. A family from the Dover Air Force Base found us online. This is a BIG answer to prayer.
We have added 2 new musicians to our worship team.
We have a group of 5 Winthrop students that are attending regularly.
Give God praise for Jesus Christ! He has redeemed us, called us into His family, blessed us with every spiritual blessing, and He desires to use us to grow His kingdom.
Pray
For First Friday Fort Mill- an outreach event on March 6. We hope to have a booth of refreshments for children. That will give us a great opportunity to meet people in Fort Mill.
We are expecting our first baby in our church family to be born the first week of March. Pray for a healthy delivery for the Hurst family.
We are planning for our Easter outreach.
We have a very important meeting with the Church Extension Committee that oversees us. This meeting will be an assessment of how we are progressing towards being a self-sustaining church by August.
If you are interested in knowing how you can support us financially, contact Pastor David at stoverdavid@hotmail.com.
Thanks so much for your faithful prayer support!

Praise

For faithful contributors.
Pray
For new folks to attend.
For the touch of the Holy Spirit on Brookside.
Christ Coastal Church, Southport, NC
Rev. Walt and Val Shepard waltshepard@gmail.com
Pray
For Walt as he recovers from a minor car accident.
Prayer and praise at the same time for the following ministries our folks are involved in:
Henry and Heather counsel youth at the Juvenile Detention center for our county. They also have a store with their farm, where all sorts of serving folks and counseling and praying with their customers and employees happens.
Sally's Bear store where all sorts of prayer and counsel occurs, as well as stuffed bears get some maintenance.
Joel and Sally have a Bible study and prayer ministry at the Senior Center.
Hank has a full orbed ministry with his job: managing care for people injured with worker's comp issues, as well as veterans needing physical therapy.
Dirk works with the local community college and guiding and coaching his staff as they all work with inmates in the prison center, and others trying to get a GED, and some life coaching. Dirk and Shirley also have a strong commitment to win their neighbors to a saving knowledge of Christ.
Walt and Val are winding up their neighborhood book club and discussion of Islam with mostly un-churched neighbors. The follow up and questions have been very encouraging.
Walt is beginning a ministry with a young person this coming week--she has come to the church sporadically.
Our worship service will have a new feature- a service dog will be in attendance. The dog and owner represent a new segment of folks we are trying to reach from this area.
Siggy is a vivacious attender who has a vital job with the Bald Head Island enterprises, and she shares her faith with everyone.
Betta has a cooking outreach that is very effective in presenting Christ to many un-churched folks from this area.
There's more going on, but this is a sampling of the outreach and ministry we are blessed with.
Some folks with drug and alcohol dependency need prayer and bold counsel, as well as tremendous love.
Praise
We are very excited for huge answers to prayer. One enormous cause for celebration is the Lord's bringing home a runaway daughter- we continue to pray for a full reconciliation and restoration.
Thank you so much for praying with us, for this huge mission field we ALL have been called to!
Grace Church Leith, Leith, Scotland
Rev. Athole Rennie athole@gracechurchleith.org
Andrew and Helen Court, InternFor Grace Church as they continue their ministry through joining the Free Church of Scotland. It has become increasingly evident over the past year that the long-term aspirations to plant an ARP Presbytery in Scotland are unlikely to be fulfilled now that the Free Church has changed its position on worship. It has also become evident that the Free Church provides Grace Church with a wonderful opportunity to find a home in an existing Scottish denomination that is in good health and is faithful to its confessional standards. Their desire to make this move is born out of what their Provisional Session believes is best for the long term health of Grace Church Leith and the cause of the gospel in Scotland.
