What is the Best Type of Grill for You?
Gone are the days when a traditional grill was all a client would ask for in their new outdoor space. We are seeing a trend where clients are asking for at least two types of grills, or at the very least clients are asking us to switch that old basic gas grill out for an improved model with lots of new features that didn't exist twenty years ago.

Here are a few of the top sellers we see going into outdoor kitchens all over the Midlands. If you haven't thought about updating your outdoor kitchen (or adding one), you will after you see all these grills have to offer. Bring on summer!
With its circular flattop cooking surface, Evo lets you prepare virtually any cuisine from any angle, which makes it ideal for entertaining. An ancient, Asian-style grill, the kamado is a thick-walled cooker that imparts rich, smoky flavor to meats, fish and vegetables. Relatively unchanged for centuries, air flows through the grill’s ceramic body and out its vented dome, lump charcoal comes to life as smoke and heat. Kamado Joe is proud to draw on that tradition, modernizing the grill’s classic style with unparalleled craftsmanship, innovative accessories and a range of flexible cooking surfaces. Accessories available include a rotisserie and a pizza oven insert... making this versatile grill even more versatile!
Their designs are truly unique, with exclusive geometric shapes, contoured angles, seamless welds and hi-polished accents. Every grill is an intriguing blend of modern design and classic elegance, making them a perfect match for all architectural designs. The variety of products available is endless... including premium grills, pellet & smoker grills, warming drawers, bar accessories and ventilation.

This Month's Feature Recipe
Garlic Butter Steak & Shrimp
Grilled Steak & Shrimp (SURF AND TURF) slathered in garlic butter makes for the BEST steak recipe! A gourmet steak dinner that tastes like something out of a restaurant, ready and on the table in less than 15 minutes grilled right at home!

For steaks, you can use Strip, Sirloin, Rib-eye, T-bone, Fillet or Porterhouse steaks.
Tail on or off shrimp are fine. If grilling frozen shrimp, thaw first and pat dry with paper towel before grilling.
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, (or 1 tablespoon minced garlic)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 New York Steak strip steaks (Porterhouse steaks)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 8 ounces (250 g) shrimp deveined, tails on or off

  1. Mix together butter, garlic and fresh chopped parsley. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Heat a large grill over high heat. Lightly grease grill plates with oil. Pat steaks dry with paper towel. Brush lightly with oil and generously season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill steaks for 4-5 minutes each side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Spread half of the butter all over steaks. Transfer steaks to a warm plate and let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. While steaks are resting, melt remaining butter. Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and grill your shrimp for 5-6 minutes, depending on the size and thickness of your shrimp. Flip each one halfway through cook time and continue cooking until they turn nice and pink in color while white and opaque on the inside.
  6. Toss remaining butter through shrimp and serve with steak!
