What Makes an Outdoor Kitchen Different from an Indoor Kitchen?
Your outdoor space is your oasis. The place where you get away from it all. But how does it differ from an indoor space when it comes to materials used? Let's explore what you can use outdoors...
Our brands of outdoor cabinetry all are made specifically to withstand the outdoor elements. Whether it's UV rays, rain & snow, insects, salt water in the air, extreme high & low temperatures.. These brands have considered all that is needed so you can have a worry free outdoor space.
There are so many options in this category from grills to refrigeration to The Galley Workstation. If you love to entertain you will find yourself falling in love with more of these options than you first imagined!
Whether you choose concrete, natural stone or a man-made product made specifically for the outdoors, you will want to confirm with your fabricator that they warrant this material for outdoor use.
Our outdoor furniture is constructed of Western Red Cedar — lightweight with an incredible thermal co-efficiency (even on hot days, it is cool to sit in). The bacteria and fungal resistance of the wood ensures long life. It is the most desirable wood for outdoor furniture.
When you are ready to start your outdoor project, contact us so one of our designers can work with you to create a space you can enjoy for years to come with products that will withstand the elements mother nature throws at us!

This Month's Feature Recipe
Honey Chicken Kabobs
You can marinate overnight and make these kabobs for an outdoor barbecue as a tasty alternative to the usual cookout fare! Fresh mushrooms, zucchini, pineapple, and cherry tomatoes are just a few more examples of other vegetables that can be added to the kabobs making them more tasty and giving them more color. Serve with rice and a tossed salad.
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 5 small onions, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 2 red bell peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • Optional: Any other veggies you would like to add

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together oil, honey, soy sauce, and pepper. Before adding chicken, reserve a small amount of marinade to brush onto kabobs while cooking. Place the chicken, garlic, onions and peppers (and any other ingredients you choose to add) in the bowl, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 2 hours (the longer the better).
  2. Preheat the grill for high heat.
  3. Drain marinade from the chicken and vegetables, and discard marinade. Thread chicken and vegetables alternately onto skewers.
  4. Lightly oil the grill grate. Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes, until chicken juices run clear. Turn and brush with reserved marinade frequently.
