The Coronavirus/COVID-19 health crisis is changing rapidly.
To do our part to prevent virus transmission, we've implemented several changes, including temporary store closures and patient health screening.
Please note the following:
HERS Program Stores - Temporary Closures
San Leandro and Pleasanton Locations:
Our San Leandro (Kaiser Permanente) and Pleasanton (Stanford Health Care ValleyCare) locations are
temporarily
closed as of today, March 16, 2020.
We anticipate re-opening by mid-April but this will depend on the recommendations of health authorities. We're keeping a close watch on developments and will provide updates as needed.
Fremont Location:
We've just learned that Alameda County is one of six Bay Area counties that have called for a shelter-in-place effective Tuesday, March 17 at 12:01 am.
Health care providers are exempt from this order. Therefore, our Fremont Program will continue to see current medical patients with urgent needs, by appointment.
There is no change to our weekday Fremont location hours: Monday-Friday, 10 am to 5 pm. We are closed 1-2 pm for lunch daily.
However, we have temporarily suspended Saturday hours at our Fremont location until further notice.
Patients should allow an extra 10-15 minutes for check-in since we are conducting health screenings on arrival.
Health & Safety Measures
We care deeply about our patients, our team, and our communities. We have increased our already vigilant protocols for hygiene, including frequent hand washing and surface cleaning, especially high-touch areas.
We're also closely monitoring Coronavirus/COVID-19 county, state, and federal health agency updates, and following their guidelines.
