Each year over 100 youth aging out of foster care locally find themselves homeless or with nowhere to go. Founding CEO of Place of Hope says, "...as a community, we can do better."
Many youth aging out of foster care need a bridge into adulthood, and they way the system is set up, that is not happening. Place of Hope's campuses in Boca and Lake Park provides a program specifically tailored to offer affordable transitional, independent living with accountability and life skills included. The sister entity, Villages of Hope, has been operating since 2006 and has grown exponentially to serve those who need it, our aging out foster youth, youth fallen through the cracks of the system and single mothers with children.
With a waiting list of those in need, Place of Hope continues to press forward on the Boca Raton campus and has plans for the newly inherited Stuart campus. Learn more about these expansions by emailing CharlesB@placeofhope.com.
