Join Our Cause

The women of Lamontagne and Lavannau are rising and taking control of their lives and communities. In October 2013, we have launched two programs in partnership with MHDR, a local organization in Jacmel, Haiti. Our programs focus on educating the communities and raising their awareness through weekly workshops on thematic such as maternal/child health, agriculture, the environment, animal husbandry and governance. The women are determined to be an example to other communities by working cohesively through a holistic and engaging approach with all members. Learn more!

Because of your donations, we are able to continue supporting Lamontagne and Lavannau communities in Jacmel. Every Dollar donated is fully invested through small scale farming/nutrition initiatives. Through our partnership with Heifer International, many of our members will receive livestock and animal husbandry training. This approach will not only focus on the raising of livestock, it will also provide an opportunity for women farmers and children to understand the benefits of consuming animal products which helps with the ingestion of Vitamin A to prevent chronic malnutrition.
