This book is actually one of my favorite new "materia medica," that is, a book that describes the "bodymind" personality 72 medicines (some new and some old ones!). He organizes them according to the various kinds of relationship dramas from a boss, parent, lover, or friend. Each remedy is described with a summary and a short description of its "essence." Dr. Kantor also "assesses the damage" that each remedy experiences from a boss, parent, lover, or friend, and then he discusses what happens when this person is prescribed the correct medicine (this section of each chapter is called "Clearing the Damage"), where he predicts the reaction the person is likely to get...and he sometimes provides a prediction on the next remedy that will follow this one! This is a deeply practical and a FUN book to read! This book exceeded my expectations.
