Our Golden Girls' turn 40+!

Join us in celebrating the belated birthdays of our three fabulous Golden Girls -- KC, Aunt Gizmo, and Aunt Jake!🎉 As you know, we have an aging population with capuchins living into their 40s -- quite an achievement for our "Golden Girls"!

Meet KC! She just turned 41 last month. Her lonely days with a mirror as her only friend, are in the past.

Aunt Gizmo also turned 40 last month and was released from behavioral research at Wooster Collage.

Aunt Jake with friend, Alex! Both 40+ and both from the same cognitive research as Aunt Gizmo.

KC pictured above with Bongo, long-time companion, retired from iron toxicity studies. They love playtime and lots of grooming. Both also 40+, both from different worlds, both finding love 💖

These remarkable monkeys have brought so much love and laughter to our sanctuary. Their stories are a testament to the strength and adaptability of these amazing creatures.

I stumbled across this old photo of Aunt Gizmo when she was in the studies at Wooster College, she was so young back then!

This is Aunt Jake here at Jungle Friends in her Almost Wild habitat, quite a contrast to life at the lab, look at her tan.
