Culpeper Harvest Days Farm Tour

September 21-22

10am - 4pm

We were honored to be the most visited farm in 2023, and we can't wait to welcome you back for another fun-filled experience in 2024.

Join us for a weekend packed with activities! Savor delicious food from Law Dawg Hot Dogs and Try Fabulous Foods food trucks, enjoy barrel train rides, and witness a blacksmith demonstration on Saturday. Take advantage of free hard cider and sangria tastings, and explore handmade items from local vendors.

Don’t miss our informative sessions on honeybees and honey extraction, and marvel at the birds of prey with Earthquest.

Visit our farm store for local delights and gifts, and immerse yourself in the full Bees & Trees Farm experience.

NEW THIS YEAR...We will be offering handicapped parking and golf cart rides to help shuttle those requiring assistance.

SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES

11 AM: Inside The Wonderful World of Honeybees. Discussion will focus on bees in the hive, their jobs, their uniqueness in the insect world, the challenges they face in today’s environment and how each one of us can help them survive. Weather permitting, we will open the hives for participants to observe the honeybee habitat first hand. Presented both days.

12:30 PM: Honey Extraction Demonstration. Our beekeepers will give a demonstration on how to extract honey from the hives and attendees will be able to sample delicious raw honey straight from the hive. Presented both days.

1:30 PM: Soar with Earthquest. Come see how this amazing nonprofit organization provides environmental & conservation education through the use of non-releasable birds of prey and rescued parrots. Donations will be accepted to support this wonderful and local non-profit. Presented both days.

VENDORS & ATTRACTIONS

FOOD TRUCKS: Law Dawg’s Hot Dogs and Try Fabulous Food food trucks will be on site providing delicious food both days--picnic tables are available. You've tasted Rhonda's amazing hot dogs in the past...they are THE best dogs around. New this year is Try Fabulous Food with their mouth-watering pizza, steamed shrimp, crab legs, muscles, and soft serve ice cream!

FARM STORE: The Farm Store will be open from 10 AM - 4 PM both days. In it you’ll find cold drinks, honey, jams, salsas, butters, local wines, hard cider, Black Angus beef, fresh eggs, bee-themed jewelry and lots of gift items.

BARREL TRAIN RIDES: Brand new at Bees & Trees ($3/ride or 2 for $5)

BLACKSMITH DEMONSTRATIONS: Only appearing on Saturday. Forged items for purchase--cash ony!

FREE HARD CIDER TASTING: Son Of A Bear will be providing FREE tastings of their hard ciders and cysers (cider/mead blend) both days—for those 21+

FREE SANGRIA TASTING: Bees & Trees will be offering its curated list of amazing Sangria both days--for those 21+

ADDITIONAL VENDORS: Handmade by Georgia (featuring soaps, crocheted Plushies and paintings). This vendor will be available both days. Spirit Hill Honeybees (selling delicious, local creamed honey). This vendor will be available both days. Battle Axe Forge (forged items) cash only from this vendor who will only be available on Saturday.
