Special Tasting with a Michelin Star Chef at the Ruin

We have a rare opportunity to sample small bites prepared by Chef Kevin Finch. A native of Salt Lake City, Chef Kevin began his culinary career at such NYC institutions as Betony and Maialino, before heading overseas to Maemo. Upon his return to the U.S. he was hired as an Executive Sous at Atelier Crenn in San Francisco, eventually earning the title of Chef de Cuisine. From there, he worked alongside Christopher Kostow and The Restaurant at Meadowood team to open Ensue in Shenzhen, China. Most recently, Chef Kevin has been a featured guest chef at several noteworthy pop-up venues in Utah, as well as in New York City, Paris, Oakland, Omaha, Bangkok, Los Angeles, and San Francisco to name a few. Chef Kevin is currently at residency through the end of July at the Ruin Lounge and has agreed to have Osher members enjoy simple gastronomic creations before his residency ends. The Ruin is a stylish downtown Main Street lounge known for its well-crafted cocktails. Seating for this special opportunity is limited, so register soon!

Enjoy Listening to Our New Podcast

Osher Stories

In celebration of our 20th Anniversary, we are collecting recorded interviews with Osher members, instructors, and volunteers as they share their experiences and describe what this wonderful program has meant to them in their lives. Our goal is to build our community by sharing 20 years of stories with our membership and with people "age 50 or better" in our area who may be looking for something new at this stage of life. Listen as members tell us about how they first found out about Osher, friendships they have formed here, what favorite classes and instructors have been, and unique perspectives about how learning and curiosity never retire!

Today’s feature is Episode 12:

Osher Instructors Tim Chambless, David Mastroianni, Wayne Egan, and Paul Carpenter

Hear instructor perspectives from three distinguished gentlemen who love teaching for us!

Duration: 11:44
