Organizing a Garage for the Season Change
- Now is the time when you start to think about moving your rakes and brooms out of your way and move the snow shovels in a more convenient spot. Keep it all together, summer tools and winter tools. Depending on your home, some ideas of where you can store items:
- You can move items into the basement
- You can store them above the garage door tracks
- The items can be stored high on the wall and rotated between high and low depending on season
- Don't forget to either run your lawnmower out of gas or put in Stabil gas treatment, and while you're at it, check to make sure your snow blower is working
