Who wouldn't want a beautiful closet like the "After" pictured here below, large, bright, and ultra organized?  Even the most beautiful closet should be extremely efficient and functional or it will soon become a large, bright, disorganized mess.
 

As we're heading into summer, now is the perfect time to take a critical look at your closet and to figure out where to store all those fall and winter clothes you won't be needing for awhile. 

 

Day One:

Pull out all the clothes that you are no longer wearing, bag them up to donate to charity.

Day Two:

Pull out all the clothes and shoes that need buttons, hems or heals repaired. Drop off for repair or get out your needle & thread, load a good movie or put on some great tunes and get busy. 

Day Three: 

Evaluate how much rod space you need for each of these categories; shirts, pants and dresses. Write these figures down.

Day Four: 

How much linear space do you need for shoes? Remember if you store toe to heal you can fit slightly more pairs in the same space. Write this figure down.  

Day Five:
