ACP CLN Alert: Internal Medicine Interest Group (IMIG) Sponsorship Applications are Now Available!

Internal Medicine Interest Group (IMIG) Sponsorship Applications are now available!

An Internal Medicine Interest Group (IMIG) is an organized group of medical students who meet regularly to explore their interest in internal medicine. These groups have a faculty advisor and student leaders who arrange programming that exposes students to different people and topics within the field of internal medicine.

You must be an ACP Medical Student Member to access the application. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 1, 2024. Not sure if someone from your medical school already applied? You'll receive a notification if there's a duplicate submission.

Check out the Hot Topic for more details and contact imig@acponline.org with any questions.

How to Reduce Burnout

We wish to understand internal medicine physician views on interventions that can minimize the burden of burnout among members of the American College of Physicians (ACP).

All responses are anonymous, analyzed in aggregate, and stored in a secure fashion housed behind the firewall of Intermountain Health. This research poses no more than minimal risk to harm subjects and involves no procedures for which a signed consent is required. A negligible risk of a breach of confidentiality exists and safeguards of Good Clinical Practice are maintained including the survey being collected anonymously, to prevent this from happening. If you have questions regarding your rights as a research subject, or if problems arise which you do not feel you can discuss with the Investigator, please contact the Intermountain Institutional Review Board at 1-800-321-2107 or by email at IRB@imail.org.

It should take about 10-15 minutes to complete the questionnaire. Participation in this study is voluntary.
