Operation Holiday - Shop Linden Hills!
Part of the charm of our neighborhood is the collection of unique shops, restaurants and services that have made their homes here.You can find the perfect gift within a few blocks or a short drive from home.
It’s easy to click the “place order” tab on a big box website, but please take the time to explore what Linden Hills businesses have to offer. This pandemic year, it’s more important than ever to support our neighborhood businesses so they can continue to serve and enhance Linden Hills.
LHiNC elves have made it easy to explore the Linden Hills village. At this link: you will find everything you need to celebrate the holiday season and keep this amazing community alive and prospering.

And, Give a Gift
Our city is facing unprecedented levels of food insecurity. LHiNC invites you to join us for a food drive on December 20th.

Please drop off donations of food and hygiene items (see list below) at the St. Thomas Apostle Church parking lot from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. Volunteers will be following CDC guidelines, wearing masks and exercising social distance.

Collected donations will be delivered to the food shelf at Waite House in South Minneapolis. Please send any questions to

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting some of the community’s fantastic shops, eateries and businesses on the Linden Hills Neighborhood Council Instagram page. We invite you to share your purchases or favorite local businesses by:

Our goal is simple: We hope to remind Linden Hills residents and neighbors from other communities that we are deeply grateful for our local establishments—and will work hard to ensure they survive and thrive for years to come.
