A Newsletter about Leaving Your Legacy with Adventure Unlimited

Dear Alex,

Thank you for being a Summit Society member. You are vital to our programs! In fact, last year, 16% of our funding came from Summit Society members just like you. Your support will bless generations to come.

It’s not lost on us how important and meaningful your gift is to the future of Adventure Unlimited. Over the past several months, our leadership team and staff have been prayerfully considering our future while focusing on our next strategic plan. We’d love to hear what’s important to you as a key stakeholder in Adventure Unlimited’s future. Please email us at giving@adventureunlimited.org to share your feedback.

Thank you for being a part of the future of Adventure Unlimited.

Warmly,

Laura Lochen

Support Adventure Unlimited – and Yourself – with a Charitable Gift Annuity

Exciting news: Charitable gift annuity (CGA) rates are the highest they’ve been in 16 years! As of January 1, 2024, the American Council on Gift Annuities raised the maximum rate by 0.4% per age range. For example, if you are 75 years old and establish a $20,000 CGA with Adventure Unlimited, your payout rate would be 7.0%. Your contribution creates a partial charitable income tax deduction, and the CGA’s income is partially tax-free.

We work with the National Gift Annuity Foundation to manage the principal given and your payments, and when the time comes, Adventure Unlimited will receive the remaining balance of your gift. This is a deferred gift with great impact. It also blesses you or your loved ones with lifetime monthly or quarterly payments.

If you’d like to learn more, please reach out to our team at giving@adventureunlimited.org and we’d be happy to help run a proposal of what your rate could be.

Soon our headquarters in Greenwood Village will contain a wall that honors you, as a Summit Society member! A beautiful painting we commissioned in your honor, as well as a QR code that takes visitors to a list of Summit Society names in our Trailmarks report, will highlight you and others who have taken this meaningful step. We can’t wait to share it with you when it’s completed!

Did We Get It Right?

We work hard to ensure every name is correct in our annual Trailmarks list, but we do need your help! Please let us know if any corrections are needed to your name listing.
