Our August 2024 Ambassador of the Month!

The Batavia Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that the August Ambassador of the Month is Dave Purdy! Dave is new to the Ambassador program this year and has hit the ground running. He contacts members on our behalf and attends our events, including ribbon cuttings for new members.

Dave’s outgoing and friendly nature makes him a natural for the Ambassador program. He works for Chamber member McNally’s Heating and Cooling in business development. He’s also active in the Fox Valley as a musician, performing as Afternoon Logic. As an Ambassador, your dedication and efforts are appreciated and highly valued by the Board of Directors, Chamber staff and membership! Thank you, Dave!

Congratulations to Long Branch Tree Service!

Third time was the charm for the ribbon cutting for Long BranchTree Services!

Summer storms had them busy helping to clean up around the community and this ribbon cutting was rescheduled three times! The Batavia Chamber of Commerce was thrilled to finally celebrate Thursday morning with co-owners, Matt and Cody Schuhow, their family, staff and supporters and to welcome them to the Batavia Chamber. What a fun way to begin the day!

2024 Community Dinner Table Tickets Still Available

Tickets are still available for the 2024 Batavia Community Dinner Table hosted by Batavia United Way on Sunday, September 8, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on N. River St. in downtown Batavia. This unique shared table experience allows residents to dine and mingle with neighbors at one LONG table, fostering a sense of community and togetherness.

This course helps to enhance understanding of natural disasters, risk assessment in the context of disaster management, prevailing emergency management procedures and operations, and the different vulnerability factors that exist within the community.

Batavia Boardwalk Shops 2025 Application Opens September 5

If you have a budding business and want to propel it to the next level, Batavia MainStreet invites you to apply for one of their 10 12x12 Batavia Boardwalk Shops spaces available. The cluster of tiny shops is located on the corner of Wilson and River Streets in Batavia.
