The third annual Pints by the Pond Craft Beer Festival, hosted by Batavia Park District, returns to Peg Bond Center at Batavia Riverwalk on Sept. 21 for an afternoon of enjoying unique small-batch beer, live music and food trucks. Read all about it!

League of Women Voters Celebrates National Voter Registration Day with a Focus on Younger Citizens

The League of Women Voters of Central Kane County (lwvckcil.com) today announced

they would be hosting several events this month surrounding National Voter Registration Day (NVRD), a nationwide, nonpartisan effort to register hundreds of thousands of voters. The League will be out in force on Tuesday, September 17th at the Sugar Grove campus of Waubonsee Community College during the WCC Engagement Fair and Spirit Week.

The Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry and Gindo’s Spice of Life are collaborating again on a Batavia community hot sauce, and we need your peppers! The proceeds from the sale of the hot sauce will benefit the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry & Clothes Closet. Last year was the first collaboration between Gindo’s and the Food Pantry. Fire on the Fox sold out and raised $1,280 for the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry & Clothes Closet
