Summer Update

August 9, 2023

Dear Friend of TheatreZone,

We're not resting on our laurels this summer! Submissions for auditions are pouring in from around the country from performers seeking roles in our six musicals. If you are (or if you know) a triple-threat performer (actor, singer, dancer), appointments must be made at Auditions@Theatre.Zone by Tuesday, August 15. Complete details are on our website. Click here. Auditions will be held in Naples (Sept. 9 and 10) and New York City (Sept. 23).

Our season launches earlier than usual this year on October 12 with Heathers: The Musical, being performed at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) -- our fifth collaboration with FGCU's Bower School of Music.

The lineup continues with our traditional holiday musical, Home for the Holidays, followed by lighthearted stories such as Neil Simon’s Little Me and Million Dollar Quartet, and darker dramas like Bonnie & Clyde: The Musical, Heathers: The Musical, and Carrie: The Musical.

Love and passion echo throughout our shows with stories from the comic to the edgy. As Naples Daily News' regional features editor, Dave Osborn, wrote, "The new TheatreZone season will go bold." (Read the article here.)

Also this season, we're offering insider experiences that give a unique view of how we create the magic of our musicals. Scroll down to read more about Talkback Thursdays and backstage tours!

We look forward to ushering you to your seat in the very near future,

Mark & Karen Danni and the TheatreZone team

Season Tickets on Sale Now

You won't want to miss a show in our electrifying 2023-2024 lineup. To become a season ticket holder, purchase the same number of seats for at least three of our shows (Bonnie & Clyde, Million Dollar Quartet, Neil Simon’s Little Me, and Carrie: The Musical), and know that your seats will be reserved for you season after season every year. Season ticket holders are offered the benefit of exchanging dates within a production as well. Make your choices now and our box office will be in touch soon to further explain the season ticket program. You may also contact the box office at 888-966-3352.

Go Backstage

Get an insider' view of how TheatreZone creates the magic of its shows with a backstage tour. Led by Founding Artistic Director Mark Danni, the tour takes you on the journey of our theatre from the wings offstage to the dressing and costume areas, and to the onstage orchestra "pit." You can bask in the limelight of center stage and vicariously feel a performer's excitement. You may run into a cast member! The tours are held every night after Home for the Holidays, Bonnie & Clyde, Million Dollar Quartet, Little Me, and Carrie -- except for the second Thursday of a show's schedule, which is when we have Talkback Thursdays. Reservations for backstage tours are required and there is a fee of $10 per person.

Meet the Cast

After the final curtain call, audiences at TheatreZone can settle back in their seats for a talkback, an opportunity to meet the show's cast and directors for candid and casual Q&As. Talkback Thursdays are scheduled post-show on the second Thursday of a show's schedule, beginning with the Thursday, January 18 performance of Bonnie & Clyde: The Musical.

Talkback Thursdays are offered at no additional charge and separate tickets are not required. Audiences can relax after the show and enjoy the talkback with refreshments from our honor bar.
