No matter how good the camera and cinematography are, how beautiful the costuming and art direction are, how well the picture is lit, how amazing the special effects are, how fine the sound is, if the ACTING is bad, the film is bad!  The same holds true for live theater productions.

The director must be able to draw the best out of the cast. One of the things that sometimes makes that difficult is that often directors and actors speak "different languages." This class is designed to put the actor and the director on the same page and enhance communication between them. It's not about DIRECTING CAMERAS, it's about DIRECTING ACTORS and getting the best possible performance from them.

In this one day crash course for both experienced and new directors, 
you' ll learn six tools for working with actors in the audition, casting, callback, and rehearsal process, and getting the most out of your cast on set or on stage. Here are registration details:
