Unison Prayer
Jesus, our Savior,
in response to your call to be your faithful disciples,
we are baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Open our lives and teach us how to follow your great commission
to make disciples of all nations,
to baptize and teach them your ways.
Let us know the full blessings of our God— Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer.
Amen.

P: One people, giving witness to the power of One. Amen

Please continue to gather items to give to the church rummage sale. You may bring in your donations during office hours or on Sunday mornings. Two classrooms have been designated for sale storage, please check the signs on the doors, as the rooms have a theme to help with the sorting process. We still need your stuff!
Reminder--no books or electronics please.
Mark your calendars for the sale-- June 20th and 21st.
Sign-up sheets are up in the narthex to help with set-up and sales!
Set-up will begin in a big way starting on the 15th. Please allow for some extra grace in the space as these efforts get underway!

Mission Giving for June
Our gifts this month will be sent to support the "Freedom Ranch"
The Freedom Ranch in Brainerd, Minnesota is a project by the Rising Hope Foundation.
It’s a safe home built to provide long-term care and recovery for young girls, aged 12 to 17, who have been rescued from human trafficking. The Freedom Ranch is equipped to house eight girls. In addition to therapy and a safe space, the girls will receive life skills training to prepare them for confident independent living.
Please note on your check or offering if you are making a gift for this mission.

If you have questions around the decisions that were voted on at the General Conference in April, please reach out to Pastor Jen. UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH ANNUAL BAKE SALE
Wednesday June 19, Thursday, June 20, and Friday, June 21, 2024
Proceeds from the Bake Sale will go to local and worldwide missions. 25% of the sales will go to Grace Church. UWF welcomes all donations of baked goods to be sold.
Baked items may be brought to the church kitchen beginning Wednesday, June 19th at 10:00 a.m. and throughout Thursday and Friday of that week.
Pies, cookies and bars are favorites. A good size for cookies is 2½ inches in diameter and bars cut approximately 1½ inch square. Put 6 cookies, bars, brownies or fudge on a paper or plastic plate and seal in a zip-lock bag or clear plastic bag with a twist tie. If you prefer, bring cookies bars and brownies in and we will cut and bag them.
PLEASE IDENTIFY AND LABEL YOUR BAKED GOODS, SUCH AS “APPLE PIE” ETC.
Pies that require refrigeration are welcome and will be handled appropriately. We will price your items.
We hope that you will bring several items for the sale. This is a bake for mission opportunity for all cooks: men, women and youth. We really appreciate whatever you are able to do. If you would like to support this annual event, but do not want to bake, your donation is always
welcome.

If you have something that should be added to this newsletter from your group or mission, please speak with Pastor Jen or email the details to her at jenmatt20@gmail.com. The E-Grace is generally completed by noon on Thursdays, so articles need to be received by Thursday 10am at the very latest.
If you wish to connect with me directly and it is not an emergency, please know that I will respond as needed during pretty regular office hours. I am generally in the church on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from at least 10-1, call the office to be sure, as my weeks may vary. I check my emails frequently throughout the day, and this is the best way to contact me. Friday is my day off as needs allow.
