Improved Teff Project Receives Major Funding


The Danforth Center and the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR) have received a generous grant from The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to further the Center’s improved teff project (as seen on PBS). Teff is an Ethiopian staple crop depended on by 80+ million people. The new variety could increase yields dramatically, improving the lives of millions. Read more.
