NFRMPO Launches 2025 Active Transportation Plan (ATP) Survey

The NFRMPO has launched the 2025 Active Transportation Plan (ATP) Survey. The survey will assist with the development of the 2025 ATP. The data will be used to ensure the plan aligns with the public’s priorities and addresses the major concerns with the regional active transportation network. The survey can be found here: https://forms.office.com/r/dGicxL7iQ3

Additional information about the 2025 ATP can be found here: https://nfrmpo.org/bike-ped/active-transportation-plan/

Bike Safety Tips and Resources

Check out these resources to help you be a safer and more confident rider this summer!

Know your ABCs!

Before you get on your bike you should always check these three things:

  •  A = Air – pressure printed on tire, check for damage like bulges
  •  B = Brakes – aren’t rubbing the tire, ¼ of pad left, thumb fits between brake lever and handlebar when brakes are squeezed all the way
  • C = Chain and Cranks – Chain should have no rust or gunk, crank should be tight

Use your Signal!

Don't forget to use your signals when you are riding a bike just like you would when driving a car!
