To kick off the holiday season from an operative perspective, we’ve got a special offer graciously provided by one of our trusted vendors. You may be ok with a partridge in a pear tree but you don’t want rats, squirrels or raccoons in your house or trees!
As we move into the coolest temperatures of the year here in Florida, many of our outdoor "friends" will be seeking warmer places to "relax".
So, what looks great to them and who are they?
Rats, mice, squirrels--rodents basically--will be finding your attic and/or crawl spaces highly attractive and before you know it, you have some squatters.
If those access points aren't secured or if they are somewhat compromised, they will find a way in (even if they have to chew their way through!)
We asked our friends at Florida Pest Control for some pointers and they have a great opportunity for you in the spirit of the season (and due to the dropping temperatures).
Florida Pest Control will conduct a courtesy evaluation of your rental property to assess potential issues with pests of many kinds and determine what your options are to either deal with a problem or prevent one from ever happening!
If you're interested, just contact maintenance and we'll coordinate the visit with Florida Pest Control and your resident and send you the findings. If any issues are identified, and you wish to speak with Florida Pest Control directly, we can arrange that too!
Lastly, don’t forget that 1099’s are mailed out in January (and there will be 2 due to our transition to a new database in May) so it’s important that we have current contact info on file for you. You can easily update at your convenience through your portal!
