Spring Greetings Friends,
I just celebrated my birthday, and hope you've been able to enjoy the spring blooms and birdsong. Spring is a reminder of new beginnings, and the gifts of the change during these challenging times we are living in.
I am feeling particularly grateful for our communities both near and far. Thank you for being here, and I'm excited to share this newsletter with all of you.
+++ Coming Up Soon : I'm leading my beloved Mama Tree Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training starting in a few days at Yoga Flow in SF (April 24 - 28), and am excited to announce that Mama Tree Level 2 will return this fall in a two-weekend format on Livestream (Nov 9, 10, 16 + 17) so more folks can attend since so many of you have taken Mama Tree online over the last several years!
Registration is up for both of these trainings, and I absolutely love sharing the magic of teaching prenatal yoga (and training more teachers!).
I hope to see you soon.
Sending many blessings, Jane

Grant Yourself an Abundance of Grace
by Allison Kirby Drone
"The journey of becoming a parent can be nothing short of a wild adventure. During my pregnancy, I experienced a whirlwind of emotions - from nerves and excitement to worry and total overwhelm (I bet some of you can relate!). And then…baby arrived (Talk about the unexpected - my water broke in Jane's prenatal class). While some aspects became less stressful, the exhaustion, love, and terror of caring for a newborn presented a whole new challenge.
One piece of advice that really resonated with me is to grant yourself an abundance of grace. As new parents, you’re navigating completely uncharted territory, with little certainty, often operating on minimal sleep (to say the least!).
What's one small act of self-love you can prioritize this week? It doesn't need to be big - whether it's stealing a few minutes to rest in the afternoon, enjoying a cup of coffee with a friend, or simply indulging in your favorite podcast. Take that moment to recognize both the visible and invisible efforts you're pouring into your journey; you're doing your best, and that IS enough.
As a life coach, motherhood has shifted my focus from helping athletes transition to life post sport to something even more incredible—helping folks navigate ALL major transitions. From figuring out this parenting thing, to finding that next job, to preparing for childbirth, a coach can help you navigate change with grace, resiliency, and confidence.
So, here's to showing ourselves some love as we navigate the ups and downs of parenthood, one of the biggest transitions life throws our way!"
Allison Kirby Drone is an ICF certified life and career coach (ACC), a mom, and former pro soccer player. She loves yoga and surfing. Allison offers 1:1 coaching to those navigating big transitions in life. To learn more, email her at kirbymethod@gmail.com, or check out kirbymethod.com.
