'A lot of bovine brew' on Dairy Month: Owen County herd is a leading Brown Swiss milk producer


Richard Sparrow and his three sons boast the highest producing dairy herd in Kentucky for the fifth consecutive year. Kentucky Deputy Agriculture Commissioner Warren Beeler said each cow contributes 12.2 gallons per day. “That’s a lot of bovine brew, bud!” Beeler quipped.
