Olympics, Alumni & Academic Shout Outs
I hope this note finds you and your loved ones enjoying a healthy, safe, and FUN summer!

This is one of my favorite times of life: THE SUMMER OLYMPICS! We are so proud that we had two of our very own compete at Trials: Griffin Manning and Jackson Nester. We are excited at the potential that Vikings will be competing in Paris in 2024 😊

Tokyo Olympics is very significant for our program:
The last time Tokyo hosted the Olympics in 1964 Bob Busbey was one of the USA Olympic Coaches!
In 2021 we have 6 alumni that have a combined 31 athletes competing in Tokyo. We would like to Shout Out our alumni and their athletes because we are #VikingProud #OneTeamOneFamily! This also gives you some swimmers to specifically cheer on in Tokyo!

Big thank you to everyone for their involvement this past semester, and for pushing our team to their achievements! Aside from what they accomplished in the pool, we're even more proud of their accomplishments in the classroom. As always, a huge shout out to Winnie Lane for guiding our team to be the best they can be and more in the classroom!

Additional Alumni Highlights: Pieter and I got to spend quality time with Gabriel Linton while he was in Cleveland visiting with his family from Sweden! Thanks to Helen Curak for making that in person connection possible!
