THE NEW TESTAMENT IN THREE WEEKS

When we read the New Testament, we might ask questions like: Why do we have 4 Gospels when they seem to repeat the same stories multiple times? How do I relate to the NT letters when they were written to people almost 2,000 years ago? In this overview class, we hope to answer these questions and see how these different books, in different genres, give us a beautiful picture of how God is working in the world since the birth of Jesus until the end of time.

WHY DID GOD USE THE PLAGUES TO REDEEM HIS CHILDREN?

This women’s class will explore the plagues in Exodus 7-12, and work to clarify their meaning and how they ultimately point to Jesus Christ.

DISCUSSING MERE CHRISTIANITY

This class will engage the classic text by C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity, exploring the ideas of the text in depth for those who are Christians. A secondary intent of this class will be for Christians to learn how to apply the ideas of the book to those who are not yet Christians. (Class registrants will need to attend class with their own copy of

Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis)
