WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BILL MOVES FORWARD IN THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS
The Ohio House Economic and Workforce Development Committee accepted a sub-bill version of House Bill 2 last week. This piece of legislation is designed to help employers "upskill" their current and prospective workforce. 

OHIO HOUSE PROPOSES FUNDAMENTAL SHIFT TO WORKERS' COMPENSATION LAW
The Ohio House Finance Committee adopted a substitute bill for the Bureau of Workers' Compensation budget that makes significant and fundamental changes to Ohio's workers' compensation system.

Help Fight a $1 Billion Tax Increase

The current Ohio operating budget bill, HB 166, contains a big tax hike on small business owners. The bill is currently being considered by the Ohio Senate and will ultimately need to be passed by the June 30 fiscal year-end deadline.
