City of Boca Raton Fire Trucks

Why does a fire truck come when I call for an ambulance?

All of Boca Raton Fire Rescue Services vehicles - engine and ladder trucks - are ALS (Advanced Life Support) vehicles. Which means if a call for medical assistance comes in and the ambulance/rescue trucks are busy with other calls or farther away, a fire engine or truck maybe dispatched to respond. Plus, all Boca Raton Fire Rescue firefighters are also paramedics, to help keep our community safe.

Learn more about your Fire Rescue Services and follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
