Distinguished Budget Award
The City's Office of Management & Budget recently received a Distinguished Budget Presentation Award - for the 41st consecutive year - from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). The award reflects our commitment in meeting the highest principles of government budgeting.
The 2023-2024 Budget details expenses and revenues the City needs to provide quality services to our community and allows residents to learn about city projects and plans for sustainable growth aligned with its mission, vision and values.

NEW! On-Demand Shuttle Service
The NEW on-demand Circuit shuttle service begins this month! The City has partnered with Circuit Transit Inc., to provide FREE shuttle service in the Downtown area, and paid service in a wider area. Users will be able to easily request rides via the Circuit app.

Does the City offer any type of assistance for purchasing a home?
Yes, we do. The City works with the State Housing Initiatives Partnership program (SHIP) to administer funds through a Homebuyer Assistance Program. Through the program, qualified first-time home buyers can receive a 0% interest, deferred payment loan for a down payment, principal reduction, closing costs and eligible renovation expenses. The loan is forgiven after 20 years.
