Heads Up Boca! Watch What You Put in Your Trash
Last week a fire started in the back of one of our sanitation trucks. The cause? Hazardous products - like lithium batteries, pool chemicals, acids and more - disposed of in curbside collection. These types of products can ignite, cause fires and become dangerous or injure someone, including our Sanitation staff.
Please do your part to keep our staff members, and everyone else safe. Dispose of your hazardous trash and recyclables properly. Never place them in curbside collection, burn them, or pour them down the household/storm drain. See what and where to dispose of these items.
