Johnny Cash Music Show: Performed by Matt York

October 4 @ 6:30 pm

Matt York returns to Tyngsborough Public Library to perform the music of the man in black himself, Johnny Cash!

Longtime New England musician/author Matt York will perform the songs of Johnny Cash and tell stories about Cash's career spanning from the 1950's to his passing in 2003. He'll discuss Cash's emergence as a groundbreaking artist in the 1950's, his marriage to June Carter and many of his other career highlights. York was recently nominated for the Boston Music Award for Best Country Artist and his album Gently Used was just named one of Worcester Magazine's best albums of 2022.

Coloring Club

October 4 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm

The Coloring Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month, from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm, in the community room. Registration not required.

Children's Book Writers' Group

October 4 & 18 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm

If you’re interested in crafting and publishing children’s books and stories, join us to participate with a group of likeminded individuals to discuss, critique, and broaden your children’s literature knowledge. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join. Registration not required.

Knitting & Crochet Group

October 14 @ 10:30 am

The Saturday Knitting & Crochet Group meets on the second Saturday of each month from 10:30 am in the Library. Open to all knitting and crocheting levels. Get together with friends and make some new ones! Registration not required

Writers' Group

October 2, 16, 23 & 30 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm

Join us for a writing workshop! Expand your knowledge on writing; critique each other’s work; and get advice on the craft. New and long-time writers are welcome! This will be an ongoing program. The Writers’ Group will be meeting in the Special Collections room of TPL. Meetings will last from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm. Registration not required.
