The leaves are falling, the air is crisp and we have officially turned the page to Fall! The Monroe Chamber of Commerce has some fun events and opportunities ahead of us for the rest of the year! Come learn what we have accomplished in September and what's in store for October and November at our next luncheon October 9th 2018.

3rd Annual Evening at Adam's Bistro

Please join us for the Third Annual Evening at Adam's - a benefit for Beck's Place graciously sponsored and hosted by Adams Northwest Bistro and Brewery .

This event has sold out two years in a row as guests have enjoyed a fabulous meal prepared by Chef Adam, entertainment by local musicians, a silent auction of high quality items and powerful stories shared by families of Beck's Place.

ROTARY BARN DANCE Oct. 27th
Oktoberfest in Monroe! Dreadnought is hosting the autumn festival with a couple of our favorite breweries and our favorite patron...YOU! We're brewing up something special and have our friends doing the same. We'll have beers from Crucible Brewing, Haywire Brewing, At Large Brewing and, of course, a special Oktoberfest beer from Dreadnought! Food will be available and music will be pumping!

Monroe Chamber of Commerce brings rain garden to downtown Monroe!

Native soils are removed and replaced with a special blend of high organic soil, bioretention and mulch. Rain gardens are then planted with beautiful, hardy, low-maintenance native perennial plants, which can withstand drought and wet root conditions.

The Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Information Center is proud to be apart of the rain garden project partnering with Snohomish County Conservation District creating an everlasting beneficial impact for the environment and downtown!

  • Enhance the landscaping and appearance of homes and yards
  • Provide habitat for beneficial insects and birds
  • Filter oil and grease from driveways, pesticides, and fertilizers from lawns, and other pollutants before they reach groundwater or the storm drain and eventually streams, wetlands, lakes and marine waters
  • Filter runoff from agricultural land to help prevent pollutants like manure from washing into our waterways
  • Reduce flooding on neighboring property, overflows in sewers, and erosion in streams by absorbing runoff from hard surfaces
  • Increase the amount of water that soaks into the ground to recharge local groundwater

We've got a Holiday Light Cruise and Car Show, Santa, carolers, hot cider, reindeer food, of course the amazing tree lighting and so much more planned for everyone!

The Festivities don't end on Sunday though. Throughout the month of December help us crown the brightest, most lit, most spirited business and let's Light Monroe Up this holiday. Local businesses will be competing from December 1 to Jan 5 for your vote by decorating and showing off their holiday spirit and we need your help. Votes can be cast online or through a paper vote from December 1 to January 5. Ballots are available at participating businesses and the Monroe Chamber.
