Public Agency Survey:
Connected Vehicle Applications

Connected Vehicle applications hold real promise in improving road safety and transport system efficiency. Public agencies lead deployments on the V2I end, though progress has been slow. Through this survey, we hope to learn why that is and how that can change. We'd like to hear directly from public agency professionals about your needs, perceptions, resources, roadblocks, and receptivity to unique business models in the context of CV deployments.
The survey should take about 12-15 minutes to complete, and the insights gained will help accelerate adoption of this life saving technology. Results will be made available to you in the form of an article distributed by the IMSA.

Are We Done Yet? Fiber Optic Project Completion

The most important milestone in a fiber optic network project is the point at which it is finished.
But when is the job done? For the final communications network, it’s successful transmission of data of course, but confusion often arises over when exactly a fiber optic cable plant is finished. Is it when the last cables are installed, and splices and terminations finished? Or is there more?
