Annie Temple
Des Moines , IA
Annie Temple attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and studied drawing, painting and jewelry making. Annie has worked in many mediums but now enjoys creating botanical printed scarves. Several of her art pieces have been donated to foundations to raise funds. She has enjoyed a career as a pediatric RN and lives with her husband, John, in Johnston, IA. Annie is currently the owner of Iowa Artisans Gallery and co-owner of Artisan Gallery 218 in West Des Moines, IA.

Dale Divoky
Fairfield, IA

Join us on Sunday, October 13th from 1p to 3p for a demonstration and meet and greet with artist Dale Divoky. Refreshments will be served.
Artist statement :
Dave Divoky has been teaching art at Maharishi University since 1984. Figurative sculpture, art, and nature are the primary focus of Dale’s teaching. 

His artwork has been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States and has been selected for public collections, including the Mario Lanza Museum in Philadelphia; New York State Capital Building, NY; University of Iowa Hospitals; Meredith Building (Better Homes and Gardens), Des Moines, IA. Dale was part of a three-person exhibit at the Quad Cities Airport Gallery and a two-person exhibit in the Smithsonian’s Natural History Hall.

The making of ceramic koi began with a grant from the Iowa Arts Council to make 20 large koi for a three month exhibit at the Des Moines Botanical Garden. The ceramic koi and other works were exhibited at the Chait Gallery for 8 years, selling close to 200 koi.

Welcome to IAG!
Artist Statement: JJ Gaffers consists of owner/glass blower Jesse Bogenrief and glass blower/flame worker Jesse Ahrendsen. JJ Gaffers was established in the summer of 2017 and is located in the Mainframe Studios lower lobby in Des Moines, IA. This unique studio space is home to dozens of artist studios and non-profits. Patrons are encouraged to visit this open studio where they can witness live glass blowing demonstrations, view the gallery space, and participate in classes as well.

JJ Gaffers creates a wide variety of glass pieces. Works include vases, bowls, ornaments, lamps, and sculptural works. Stop into IAG today to pick you your very own glass blown pumpkin! 🎃
