Current Fall Color Report (9/29/10) Fall colors on the Iron Range are at 75-100% - The aspen and birch are at peak, and there are still enough maples holding onto to their leaves to add reds and oranges to the landscape. Red oaks are also at peak. Lots of yellows and reds in the understory as well from hazel and dogwood. The ferns are gold and brown along the roadsides, and asters are still blooming. Flower color: 75-100% - Grass color: 75-100%
