October Training

Leading with Equity and Inclusion

Integrating *Community Centric Fundraising practices into your fundraising work. Bringing our donors, funders and fundraisers along.

  • High level donor management – how to deal with entitled donors and having difficult conversations.
  • Exclusivity in fundraising – how do we change the narrative?
  • Centering our community needs and all donors and volunteers, over just a few.
  • Integrating small changes in your fundraising program to be more community centric.

Community-Centric Fundraising is a fundraising model that is grounded in equity and social justice. We prioritize the entire community over individual organizations, foster a sense of belonging and interdependence, present our work not as individual transactions but holistically, and encourage mutual support between nonprofits.
