Matthew Ram ('10, Finance) oversees hotel acquisitions for Tampa-based hotel management firm McKibbon Hospitality under the division McKibbon Equities. In August, Ram's unit completed its first acquisition — a 128-room Hampton Inn on Ulmerton Road. Read more→

Phillip Trocchia, a professor in the School of Marketing and Innovation, was quoted in a St. Pete Catalyst story about an assessment of Pinellas County charitable organizations.


Rob Hooker, an associate professor in the School of Marketing and Innovation, was quoted in a WFTS story about the impact of the United Auto Workers strike.


Greg Manning, a business consultant with the Florida Small Business Development Center at USF, was quoted in the Axios story “Florida businesses face scam risk in pandemic tax credit program.”


Brianna Paulich, an assistant professor in the School of Marketing and Innovation, won a Best Faculty Fellow Proposal Award at the Marketing Strategy Consortium.


Carol Osborne, director of the Zimmerman Advertising Program, was quoted in an Aug. 21 Woman’s World magazine article about outsmarting grocery store marketing tricks.


Shivendu Shivendu, an associate professor in the School of Information Systems and Management, was interviewed by The Fintech Times about Chase UK’s decision to ban digital currency purchases.

Max Oligario (‘04, MBA) was named market executive overseeing Bank of America’s Global Commercial Banking Division for the state of Georgia.


Penelope Schweitzer (‘23, BS, Marketing) started a new position as a creative project and content lead at Abyde. She is a former USF Muma College of Business 25 Under 25 Award honoree. 


Jeremy Wing (‘16, MBA, ’12, BS, Information Systems and Decision Sciences) has a new opportunity in Denver, Colorado as the head of product at Western Union.  


Christina Mark (‘22, MBA, major, ’16, BS, Finance) is excited to announce that she is a senior finance manager at L’Oréal. 


Jeffery Arama (‘21, BS, Finance) is happy to share that he has a new role as an electronic sales trader at UBS. He is a former USF Muma College of Business 25 Under 25 Award honoree. 


Juliana Dunlap (‘21, MBA, ’20, BS, Information Systems and Decision Sciences) started a new position as an associate systems analyst at Fidelity Investments.

The Business Development Club and the Center for Marketing and Sales Innovation hosted a "Partner Palooza" networking event as part of the Selling with the Bulls sales competition. The event gave business students the chance to test their skills in front of local firms and businesses.

Vikas Soni, a finance PhD candidate, presented his work on Sea Level Rise and Commercial Real Estate at the Oxford Sustainable Private Market Conference 2023 at the University of Oxford and at the 2023 AREUEA International Conference at the University of Cambridge.
