Fall in Love with Fall!!!
Fall and Hispanic Heritage Festival
Thanks to Sony Music Group, our students fell in love with fall. OYC Miami had a fall festival thanks to Sony Music's Second Annual Season of Giving Campaign. Hosted by Sony Music Latin, our kids had an amazing time during the fall festival, which also commemorated Hispanic Heritage Month.
During this festival, kids participated in fun pumpkin painting and colorful mask drawings, along with dancing, a bounce house, and ice cream. Sony Music volunteers were involved in all the festivities, making sure the kids had a great time!
Our kids had a blast at the Fall Festival, embracing the spirit of fall and celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Thank you Sony Music for providing us with the opportunity to be a part of the Season of Giving campaign. 🍂🎶💙

This year's golf classic is taking place at the luxurious Biltmore Hotel and Golf Club in Coral Gables, and we want you to join us for a good cause, which supports OYC Miami and Honey Shine!

We asked 100 OYC families “To name their favorite game night,”…and the number one answer was…OYC Family Feud Game Night‼️
OYC families participated in a Family Feud Game Night, hosted by our programming team. Facilitated by our very "Steve Harvey," teams of families came together to compete for the top score, while others came out to cheer the teams on.

During the week of October 16th, our I.C.E. or Inspiring Civic Engagement Initiative kicked off a social media campaign about Why do you vote? We asked social media users to create a video explaining why they vote, share the video and tag us. Also, during the campaign we provided important DOs and Donts about voting.

Overtown Young Professionals (OYP) is a group of young professionals between the ages of 21 and 39. OYP exists to empower future leaders of our community to engage, connect and support the mission of the Overtown Youth Center. OYP members will serve as ambassadors to raise awareness about the transformational programs that provide youth and families the support necessary to bridge educational, social, emotional, and opportunity gaps that exist in urban communities.
