Niagara is home to some of the most beautiful walking trails in Ontario. With the leaves changing colours, and the summer crowds slowly dissipating, there's no better way to get outside and enjoy some fresh air.
Balls Fall's Falls Historical Park Loop
This trail is perfect for beginners who are looking for a leisurely and scenic stroll. Located in Jordan, Ontario, this 1 km loop is perfect for families and ends up in the historic village dating back to the 19th century.
White Water Walk Niagara River is home to white-water rapids that amaze visitors. With rushing water, whirlpool rapids, and beautiful scenery, this is a moderate trail that will take you down the wooden boardwalk to the bottom of the gorge. Short Hills Provincial Park
An extensive trail system provides varying levels of difficulties for visitors. Whether you are looking to go by foot, on bike, or even on horseback, there are several options and designated trails to let you explore. This park has 7 trails including Terrace Creek, Scarlet Tanager, Hemlock Valley, Swayze Falls, Very Berry, Black Walnut, and the Palaeozoic Path.
