October is Domestic Violence Awareness month and we are collecting items for UMOM's Domestic Violence Shelter. Please bring items from the following list this Sunday, October 16: New Undergarments (Women’s and Children’s), Socks, Toiletries, Hygiene and feminine products, Sheets (full and queen), Blankets, Books (nonviolent and children’s). more

Children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animals for a special blessing during Children’s Time at the 9:00 and 10:30am services this Sunday.

Dayspring Tempe will hold its eighth annual Blessing of the Animals this Sunday, October 16, at 12:00pm. All pets are welcome. Please bring dogs on a leash or in a carrier. If you’re unable to bring your pet, for any reason, but would still like them blessed, please bring a photo. more

The children in BeTween are raising money by hosting a car wash this Sunday, October 16, from 11:30 to 1:00 in the church parking lot. Your donations will support BeTween's Christmas service project for local kids in need. 

***If it rains on Sunday, the car wash will be postponed one week to October 23.

The next Taizé Service will be held in Fellowship Hall next Sunday, October 16, at 4pm. This truly is a time for deep connection with God. Gathered in the presence of Christ, this is a time of meditative common prayer, allowing the mystery of God to become known through the beauty of simplicity. more

Christian Caregiving, A Way of Life, by pastor and psychologist, Kenneth Haugh, is an inspirational guide for adults who would like to improve the quality of care they give to the people around them—family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, customers and clients. Taught by two of Dayspring’s Stephen Ministry leaders, this class is open to anyone from our Dayspring communities who would like to learn more. This class will meet weekly for five weeks both in person and online on Mondays starting October 17, from 6:30 – 7:45pm. To sign up, please email Suzanne.

Boy Scout Troop 172 will hold a fundraising car wash on Saturday, October 22nd from 8:30am until 1:00pm. Please stop by the Shell gas station at Elliot & McClintock, get your car washed and make a donation. 

Our annual Fall Festival returns on October 22 at 4:00! You don't want to miss it! There will be food, games, crafts, haunted house, bounce house, trunk-or-treating, and so much more! Discounted pre-sale tickets are available on the patio this Sunday and in the church office on Monday and Thursday morning. The pre-sale price is 50 tickets for $20 ($25 at the door). All are welcome, so please tell your friends and neighbors! Proceeds support the Dayspring Youth Ministry Sierra Service Project trip.
