SJNA November Forum:
Emergency Preparedness with St. Johns NET
Roosevelt High School | Nov. 13th | 6:30-8:30PM
The St. Johns Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) has recently reformed and ready to engage and empower our community to prepare for the next disaster crisis. As a peninsula, our community is especially vulnerable in the event of a catastrophe, such as the pending area earthquakes. It is therefore imperative that we come together to prepare and plan in advance.

In lieu of the regularly scheduled November SJNA meeting, the St. Johns NET team will be hosting a community Emergency Preparation Forum on November 13th, at Roosevelt High School from 6:30-8:30. Follow the St. Johns NET Facebook page for event updates.

There will not be a regular SNJA General Meeting in November.
Join us for the NET Forum instead.

Fessenden & St. Louis Safety Rally
N Charleston & N Fessenden
October 20th | 4:30PM

In 2013, after 17 months of negotiation with the community, PBOT agreed to install pedestrian beacons at key places along the corridor. In June, they unilaterally decided to not do so. Because of community pressure, we've now received commitment to include them - but quite possibly not next year, as originally planned.

The only thing that will make this happen is community pressure. Come with posters, fun songs, & street theater.
