Simply Giving (Online Giving)

We have always been a Congregation that is very generous in our giving. One of the greatest programs we offer is our SIMPLY GIVING program. This allows you to have offering be paid through one of the following

- Checking Account

- Saving Account

- Credit Card

- Debit Card

The timing of your offering can be flexible too:

  • Weekly on Mondays
  • Semi-monthly on the 1st and 15th of the month
  • Monthly on the 1st or the 15th

This is also a great tool in keeping your commitment to your pledge and allow the church to meet its budget. If you have any questions regarding Simply Giving,

you can contact Rachel Henderson (Council Treasurer) or Paul Hahn.

Extra News and Information

A Kind Note from Park Brook Elementary to

Prince of Peace Members:

Dear Pastor Chad & Prince of Peace Congregation,

As I prepare for teachers to return next week & then the following week the students, I am reflecting upon so much that I have to be thankful for, and I cannot help but think of the support and blessing that Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is and has been to Park Brook Elementary. Some who are new to Prince of Peace may not know that Prince of Peace first met in the gymnasium of Park Brook Elementary prior to building your church.

I reflect upon last year and am reminded of how you open your church building for our fourth graders to come for their one-day Kindness Retreat sponsored by Youth Frontiers. I am reminded of the kindness of members of the church to serve breakfast for our Fifth Grade Formal Breakfast, those who worked to make the Fifth Grade Commemoration memorable for the students and their families, and then those who came each week to read with students.

As believer and follower of Jesus, I appreciate your church reaching out to the community with His Love and serving those right in your community.

With Appreciation,

Scott Taylor, Principal of Park Brook Elementary School

Church Library News

Are you thinking of curling up with a good book on the coming fall nights? Look no further, for the POP Church Library has many interesting & fun books for you to read! Your young and teenage children have many choices available too. Come to the library before & after Sunday service and find just what you want for books, films and audio books.

We are still looking for additional adult fiction, biographies and children's books for our "Little Free Library" located on the West Broadway sidewalk. Bring them to the church library & we will see that they get in the free library. Thank you for the books that have already been donated.

Are you thinking of serving on the Library Team? You can be very flexible as to what you can do and the time you have to volunteer. Contact Sally Onstad if interested. (phone # in directory)
