Principal's Points
Good Afternoon St. Stephen families,

This weekend is Uniform Weekend. That means students who come to Mass in uniform will receive a Holy Card from the priest at the end of Mass. Students should then bring the card to school on Monday to show their teacher and they may have free dress. Please see the handbook for free dress rules.

We have been in touch with the county regarding the traffic light. As I stated in my Principal's Coffee, the project has become more involved as street crossings will need to be included in the design. We are planning to have a meeting with county representatives at the end of the month to review the design and schedule for the work to be completed. I will give you an update after our meeting.

As you know, we have been using two entrances for morning drop off, the Angel's Wing and the Art Room and it has been working well. Now that this is becoming a regular pathway to the Art Room, we would like to upgrade the path from the sidewalk to the patio outside the Art Room door. Right now there are a few pavers but is difficult to navigate with rolling backpacks. If anyone is able to help with cement, pavers, etc. and can make a path for us, please let me know. It's about 10-15 feet of walkway that's needed and if someone could help us accomplish this at no or minimal cost, it would be greatly appreciated.

Please read all of Tidbits as there is much exciting news being shared. As always, thank you all for your continued support.

Peace and Blessings,

Linda Umoh

Public Library Haal Pass
Haal Pass allows our students to access public library resources with just their student ID number and Pin. Students will use their student ID number (from FACTS) and their password of 4321 to log into the HCPLC.org site. This allows them to check out physical copies of books as well as digital books, audiobooks, and any other materials available from the public library. Students can also use this account to check out ebooks on Overdrive or Libby, the digital reader programs used by the public library.
SSCS Library Access
Students can now check out books from our school library! Students can sign into our library catalog using Destiny Discover and put books on hold. Books will be delivered to their classrooms after being checked out. Flexible learning students can have their books picked up at the front office.
