Eat breakfast with heroes
Eat your breakfast on Saturday with heroes - attend neighborhood showcase

Greetings!

When I was growing up, Wheaties was the Breakfast of Champions. On Saturday, Oct. 2, you will have a chance to eat breakfast with people who champion our core neighborhoods at the Connecting the Dots Showcase and Assembly. Five people have been awarded Neighborhood Hero in their respective neighborhoods. These people love Duluth and work hard to give back to their community. They love their community.

Those heroes are:
  • Central Hillside: Gene Johnson McKeever
  • East Hillside: Sandy Robinson
  • Lincoln Park: Sandy Winklesky
  • West Duluth: Sunny Helbacka
  • Morgan Park: Carl Nelson

Please join them on Saturday.

Sam and Holly are interns, and Rebecca, my daughter, will write environmental columns. We plan to have them write stories for the paper issue and contribute weekly to the Hillsider Blog.
