MLK Park Playground Replacement

Coffee in the Park March 19

You're invited! Parks & Recreation Director Manuel Gonzalez is hosting a “Coffee in the Park” at Oak Riparian Park on March 19 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. Oak Riparian Park is located at 4625 Lake Boulevard. This informal gathering aims to foster dialogue between park lovers and the Parks & Recreation Department. Stop by and say hello, share your ideas, concerns, and vision for Oceanside's parks.

Spring Egg Hunt March 30

The annual Oceanside Spring Egg Hunt will be held at Mance Buchanon Park, located at 425 College Blvd., on Saturday, March 30, 2024.


This free event includes candy, prizes, entertainment, and a chance to take photos with the Easter Bunny!


New this Year: a separate Egg Hunt for children two years and under, and an “All Egg-bilities” Hunt designed for sensory sensitivities or adaptive needs. Parents will be allowed on the fields for these two egg hunts.

Open Gym...Drop by and Play

Drop-in Open Gym is available at the Junior Seau Beach Community Center and the Melba Bishop Recreation Center. It's a great opportunity to stay active and healthy and enjoy a variety of sports activites, such as basketball, pickleball, ping pong, tai chi and others. Check out the monthly calendar. Senior Citizen Activities...Join us!

Calling all Oceanside seniors! Visit one of the City's Senior Centers to enjoy lunch, monthly events, and many other activities. The Country Club Senior Center hosts congregate lunch Monday – Friday from 11:00 a.m. to noon, and both Senior Centers host games and activities such as scrabble, painting, table tennis and chair yoga.
