Glenn Louis Fechner, 55, beloved husband of Dr. Saima Anis Class of 1998, Dow University of Health Sciences, of Narberth, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 6, 2023. Born on April 15, 1968, Glenn was a beloved son, brother, husband, and father to Deena Zeytun Fechner, 12.
Raised in Southampton, PA, Glenn pursued his passion for learning at Syracuse University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 1990 and a Masters in Liberal Arts from University of Pennsylvania focusing on Education. He served the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania until the day he passed.
Throughout his life, Glenn's love for musical talent as a bassist brought joy to those around him. He was a trivia buff, appearing on "Jeopardy" in 2010. Glenn was a dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing squash, and hosting memorable barbecues.
Glenn is survived by his parents, sister, wife, and daughter, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, knowledge, and love. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
