Obituary

Anwer Nasir (1964-2024)

It is with a heavy heart that we wish to inform you that our dear friend Anwer Nasir, MD, passed away after a tragic accident on June 2, 2024. Dr Nasir miraculously survived a near-fatal coronary event a few years ago and was getting back to normality when he was taken away from us by the will of the Almighty.

Dr. Nasir was known to his friends and the greater Dallas community as a Godconscious and spiritual person who had devoted much of his life to Islamic causes. His friends, without fail, received a reminder every Jummah to make dua for their parents. We will dearly miss this reminder.

May Allah accept him as a Shaheed, and grant him mercy and high status. He leaves behind a loving and devoted wife and three beautiful daughters. We offer our deepest condolences to his wife, children, brothers, sisters, parents and friends And pray that they have the courage to bear this terrible loss.

Dr Nasir’s funeral has taken place and we kindly request everyone to make dua for this Maghfirah.

The DOGANA and APPNA family will forever cherish his memory.

Rest in peace Anwer.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife and three daughters. Please pray for his maghfarat.
