Dear Friends,

With the beginning of Ken Wilber's course this past week, you witnessed Ubiquity's lift off, although I'm sure you probably experienced it more like a blast off with all the commotion we've caused over the past months. We sent numerous communications your way and want to thank all of you for your patience. We were targeting different audiences and groups, from Boomers to Millennials, and from existing Wisdom School students to change makers, entrepreneurs, and prospective students in the global south. We sent everything to everyone, not really knowing who was really out there or how different ones of you might want to help.  You probably resonated with some and found others irritating or irrelevant. We're sorry for any confusion.

The important thing is that the lift off was successful and we are now in motion and on our way. We are 150 students strong, our summer pilgrimages to Chartres and Portugal are full to overflowing, and we are focused on September when we start our first trimester for our BA, MBA, and certificates as well as open our technology platform for partnering organizations.

As we move forward, we want to cut through all the clutter and noise and make sure all of you know our BOTTOM LINE, represented by three slides below:

Ubiquity is here for a very important reason:
  • We're designed for a future of hypercomplexity (Slide 1)
  • We have developed an integral learning system designed to activate high performance (Slide 2)
  • We are opening as both a university and as a technology platform for partners
    ( Slide 3)

We are getting excellent traction in Asia where we have focused on Sri Lanka as a prototype of what is possible.  We have developed a market niche there of young people interested in Ubiquity's innovative content and who can afford our low prices. We are being positioned as a completion school for BAs and MBAs for students finishing vocational and other schooling but still needing a degree. Our themes of entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation are popular among the upwardly digital Millennials.  Our team there has already begun student enrollment and is expecting to recruit as many as several hundred BA/MBA students for September.

The demographic in Sri Lanka is everywhere. We are developing the exact same approach in California where our partner wants to distribute our courses and degrees to the state network set up to assist Latino students through college. In the UK, we are building a partnership with a Waldorf inspired network of schools. We are also in discussions with Australian and British educational companies that want to take our educational products to countries throughout Asia and the global south. We are building partnerships in Europe, Russia and the Baltics.

If you add our pending accreditation with ASIC (http://www.asicuk.com) you begin to fill out the global network we are beginning to build. ASIC has 250 centers in 30 countries and actively wants to profile Ubiquity as the future of education throughout their system. As accreditors, they believe that Ubiquity demonstrates important innovations in learning, especially our developing technology platform for other educational institutions who know they need to go digital but don't have the wherewithal to do so. ASIC gives us access to hundreds of academic institutions all over the world.

This is the key to our expansion -  We are designed both as a university
for students and as a platform for institutions.  Slide 3 shows our growing network of partners.

Our investments to date ($2.8 M) have enabled us to complete the build out of all our basic systems and learning platform. What we are seeking to do in 2015 is enter the market, lay down our basic foundational design, and build our student  base. Everything is in motion for September.   Our goal: 1,000 students registered by September 7.

You can help us by forwarding the slides below to anyone you know who might benefit from knowing what Ubiquity offers.

Again, thank you all for your forbearance as we have gotten under way. Blast offs generate a lot of dust and commotion but we are now settling in to our trajectory as we gain altitude. We will keep you posted.

In closing, I want to acknowledge our extraordinary team, some 20 strong now and operating from all over North America, Europe and Asia. We have a dream team, so please know that Ubiquity is in good hands as we continue to grow. I also want to acknowledge each and every one of you for your support, patience and enthusiasm along the way.
